A wedding favour is absolutely not a must-do these days. But if it is something you’d like to include in your planning, here is a list of our very favourite ideas that your guests won’t leave behind.
FOOD or DRINK
A cookie, lolly bag, mini chocolate bar, mints, fortune cookie, cocktail mixer. Everyone loves a little treatie. If it is something that guests can consume, it’s a winner.
SCRATCHIES
Imagine changing the life of someone attending your wedding with such a simple gift. This is actually a pretty budget friendly option too, depending on your number of guests, with the lowest cost of a scratchie being only $1.
RECIPE CARDS
This is a super nostalgic option. Perhaps you have a special family recipe or even a cocktail you and your partner have created. You could easily whip up a sweet design on Canva and print on some high quality paper to create a beautiful gift for your guests.
STUBBY HOLDERS
This is a very practical option. A lot of guests prefer to use a stubby holder for their drinks, so to supply your own personalised ones makes sense. If you feel that having one for each guest might be overkill, you could simply have a limited amount available on your bar so that only those who really do want one can take what they please.
Our biggest tip would be to go with something you’d be happy to take home yourself. If in doubt, just scratch them all together!
